Summer Reading Challenge and Augusta Richmond County Public Library
Find Your Reading Joy Challenge Period: June 1 - July 31, 2026
Recognition: Students who earn badges and meet the goal of 900 minutes of reading over the summer will be recognized with a RCBOE certificate and earn a Dave and Buster’s Power Card.
School Incentive: The top schools in each cluster will receive the first Richmond Reads Traveling Trophy at the Administrators meeting in the fall. Plus, the top-performing libraries and schools have the chance to win the Beanstack grand prize of $3,000 and a virtual author visit!
Special Event: Encourage your students to join the Augusta Richmond County Public Library Summer Reading Program Kick Off Event on Saturday, June 6, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Dave & Buster’s, 807 Cabela Drive, Augusta, GA.
